Part of the A5 Series, the Metabo HPT NT65A5M (formerly Hitachi) 16-Gauge PRO Finish Nailer is designed specifically for the professional carpenter. The nailer’s cylinder valve drive system has been upgraded, giving it added durability and an accelerated response. Fans of the original Hitachi NT65 will be happy to find that this finish nailer is a re-creation of that model, reviving the same motor. A high-capacity aluminum magazine on the NT65A5M holds three strips of nails, which helps prevent jams – and means fewer stops to re-load.
Selective actuation on this nailer lets you conveniently switch from contact to sequential fire, depending on your needs. It’s ideal for tasks like interior molding, cabinet making, casings, window trim, and baseboards. This 16-gauge nailer takes straight finish nails from 1-1/2″ to 2-1/2″. Should a jam occur, its quick-clear nose lets you easily remove without tools. Other features on the NT65A5M include a 360° adjustable aluminum hook, safety glasses, no-mar tip, and canvas carrying bag. The tool comes supported by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
